VSM: ID the current state and learn to improve it

The Value Stream consists of all activities, both value-added and non value-added, required to bring a product group or service from order to the hands of the customer, and a design from concept to launch to production to delivery.

Value Stream Mapping (VSM) is the process of identifying value streams/product groups, mapping a current state of material and information flow, assessing waste in the process, and designing an improved process -- the future state. Our training teaches the skills and provides hands-on practice in developing current and future state value stream maps. Successful trainees leave the course equipped to implement this skill in their own place of business.
